Grew up in San Francisco and have sailed in just about every major regatta around the world including time aboard AmericaTrue. Previously worked for Quantum Sails in San Francisco and have sailed for North Sails in Chicago, Newport Beach, HK and Kobe, Japan. Lowell North as crew aboard his racer/cruiser Wanago.

I sailed on the UMass Boston sailing team, primarily on keelboats (Solings and Colgate 26). I participated in well over 30 MBSA regattas on a J-109 out of Gloucester. And I learned about your club at the Boston sailing center were I am frostbiting in J-24's. Upwind I trim the head sail, down wind I trim the spinnaker.
I am eager to sail, and I am always looking to build my skill set. Also, I am looking to crew on a part time basis.

I have taught sailing all over the country including at BYC in 2001, 2002, in Sonars and have competed in Collegiate Sailing. I competed in nationals in 1999 also in Sonars. I also was the Sailing Director at the Austin YC in 2006, 2007. Now I am back up in Boston, attending Suffolk Law and need to get back into racing, not so much teaching. Looking first for a boat that wants to have fun and race, second in creating hopefully a long term team.

I have been racing up and down the California coast for almost 28 years. I can handle any postion helm, foredeck, trimmer.
I raced my J35 in the PacCup in 2004, Olson 40 in the Newport to Ensenada Race (1 of 5 times). I just recently purchased an Etchells that I will be racing out of San Diego Yacht Club. I am looking for some East Coast experience and crew for my boat on the west coast. Willing to race a club series to regatta level.

Have completed the introductory instruction at the Boston Sailing Center on the Boston Harbor on a Soling and and am presently working on advanced instruction on a J24. In this capacity have been on the water for 25 hrs in late summer as of 8/2/07. Have also done dingy sailing on the Charles River. I know the basics of getting around in a Soling, which is like an Etchells; the points of sail, sail trim, tacking, gybing, but have not been in a race. I am strongly interested in participating as a crew on an Etchells. |

I first learned to sail at Commuity boating 20 years ago , I also used to belong to Courgous sailing in Charlestown.
I used to race in Marblehead on a boat call the Katland owner Steve last name I'm not sure of but I do remeber the boat was named aftre hids daughter , and he also sailed with his dad.

Sailing since my teens. EZ going, take direction happily from skipper, Fit, handy. Own two trailer sailers, Designers Choice 15' by S&S, and a sailstar explorer 17'(Daysailer knock off). Crewed BVI 5 times bareboating, J36 8 yrs, and chartered small daysailers many times single handing. Need to get in some formal racing techniques, and just get back in the evening racing scene.
